Hello again! This would normally be my last non-newsletter week before I would jump back into Mentions with the warmth and joy from taking some time off during and after the holiday season. But sadly, we’re not in normal times and the last few weeks have been pretty awful both nationally and locally.

So I’m cutting my January hiatus short with a Friday morning Mentions email because many organizers and businesses are observing a General Strike today. If you have the ability to participate, I’d encourage you to do so, but I also acknowledge that not everyone has the privilege to refrain from purchases, or to take the day of from work or school - I hope you will take time to participate however you are able.
